Program Description

BrightBuild SMS supports transactional project coordination between a contractor (project manager) and their subcontractors/clients for active renovation or construction projects. Messages include schedule changes, delivery coordination, task updates, and response follow-ups. No promotional marketing content is sent through this program.

How Recipients Consent (Call to Action)

Exact consent wording used by contractors (in person or by phone) before adding a number:
"Would you like to receive SMS updates about your renovation project? Message and data rates may apply. Reply START to confirm. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out."

  • Recipients are existing project participants with a direct relationship to the contractor.
  • The contractor collects permission directly before adding a phone number in BrightBuild (for example: in-person or by phone).
  • When a number is added, BrightBuild sends a one-time consent request SMS from the contractor context.
  • The recipient must reply START (or UNSTOP where supported) before ongoing project coordination SMS is enabled.
  • No project coordination messages are sent until the recipient confirms with START (or UNSTOP where supported).
